Let's look at how you figure out if a web site is a reliable resource:
Who wrote it? Does it tell you on the maon page wh the author or organization is who wrote it ? Is there a way to contact the author or organization by phone or email?
The pages within the website look alike, i.e. they have the same logo at the top and the same formatting on each page
Inside pages always link back to the home page. Links all work the way they should. Loads easily.
Is it easy to read? Is the spelling and grammar correct?
Is it fun to look at and spend time in?
Has it been updated recently?
Is there a bias, are they trying to persuade or sell you something?
If you are going to use the information for a school project, use websites that you already know have good information: Badgerlink, Encyclopedia Britannica, library, museum, government, and school web pages that have links to reliable sources.
